Captain America replaces Harry Potter on box office top spot

If one believes, that no one could beat a sorcerer then better think again. Harry Potter now taken out from the top spot box office by Captain America: The First Avenger.

The patriotic hero of war Captain America takes number 1 spot from Harry Potter. Captain America earns $65.8 million while Harry Potter got second place earning just $48.1 million.

Other movies that made it into the lists are.

3. Friends With Benefits – $18.5 million

4. Transformers: Dark of the Moon – $12 million 5. Horrible Bosses – $11.5 million

6. Zookeeper – $8.7 million

7. Cars 2 – $6.5 million

8. Winnie the Pooh – $5.5 million

9. Bad Teacher – $2.5 million

10. Midnight in Paris – $2 million

Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be the star of Last Stand

Former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger gets a starring role in the movie “Last Stand.” Lions Gate Motion is going to produce the film.

Schwarzenegger’ character is a tough sheriff who battles an infamous kingpin.

Aside from the title and one line about the story, Schwarzenegger’s agent never mentioned any information, but the agent confirms that he will appear in the upcoming movie.

The movie is going to be directed by Korean filmmaker Kim Jee-Woon. The latter never did give a shooting and release date for the movie.

Back in May, the muscle bound, former governor says, he is putting his acting career on hold. He has to many things going on his mind like his son with their housekeeper and the recent divorce with his wife.

Tom Hanks confirms Toy Story 4

Tom Hanks revealed that the fourth installment of the movie Toy Story is currently on the works. The famous tandem of Woody and Buzz will be gracing the big screen once again.

There is no confirmed date on when it would be launched but Tom Hanks just admitted the truth that a fourth installation is currently on the works. Tom Hanks just announced the movie when he was asked by a website on whether will there be a fourth movie of Toy Story.

Toy Story got the fifth placed last year for the highest grossing film of all time. It got more than 1 billion at the global box office and winning an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

Star Cinema and Viva Films are Collaborating Together on a Movie

Star Cinema and Viva Film are currently working together to bring two of the hottest female stars in the same movie. The movie features both Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes, with Derek Ramsay as their leading man.

This is not the first time that the two movie company has joined forces, the first time that they have done it was last year in the movie “Catch Me I’m In Love”, which features Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson.

In a recent interview by PEP, Derek shared that he was both nervous and excited about the project.

Just to date, this is the first time that he will be doing a movie this year; his last movie was way back in 2009.

Derek unveiled that he will be doing some bed scenes with the sexy Cristine Reyes so he got to prepare for it both in body and mind.

Orlando Bloom reprise his role on The Hobbit

Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as the white-long haired elf Legolas in the LOTR prequel, “The Hobbit.”

Director Pter Jackson is thrilled to be working with the English actor. Is has been 10 years since the first LOTR and Orlando still looks the same. Orlando made the LOTR movies more exciting when he portrayed the elf Legolas.

Bloom is just one of the celebrities who come back to reprise their role on the new movie. Other celebrities who will be returning as well are Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Sir Ian McKellan and Elijah Wood.

Following his role on the movie, “The Hobbit,” he will be seen next on the “The Three Musketeers,” and “Water for Elephants.”

CBS has chosen writers for Legend movie

CBS Film has already chosen Andrew Barrer and Gabe Ferrari to adapt the novel “Legend” into the big screen.

The announcement comes two weeks following the Jonathan Levine being tapped as the director of the movie. The film will be directed by both Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of “The Twilight Saga” fame.

CBS has been experimenting with hiring creative people for the job. They want to have a unique but talented set of staff for the upcoming film.

According to the story in the book, it takes place about in Los Angeles over a hundred years in the future. The movie Legend focuses on the teenager Robin Hood, who is known as the most wanted criminal in the world.

Fast Five is the 5^th installment of the movie Fast and the Furious franchise. This is about a racing movie that features two guys who wants to catch some bad in the race track. Once again both Brian O’conner and Dominic Toretto are on the wrong side of the law. They have assembled a group of street racers who will help them in their bid to catch the guy wanting them to be dead.

Luke Hobbs, is a federal agent that is assigned to track down the two fugitives.

The hit movie “The Bodyguard” back on the 90’s which led to the hit song “I will always you” is going to the big screen once again as movie remakes are in the making. Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston will be replaced by Clint Eastwood and Beyonce.

The story will be updated according to the internet age. The previous story was a story of a singer who has a stalker that is harassing her. She hires a former secret agent service to protect her. In the new version, a singer gets harassed in the internet and then hires a war veteran to tract down the culprit and also protects her from the maniac.

Kevin Costner on Superman Reboot
