Willie Revillame might get TRO
ABS-CBN recently filed a petition on the QC Regional Trial court to issue a TRO (temporary restraining order) against the host of Wiling Wili kami, Willie Revillame so that the show could not be launched on October 27, 2010.
The petition is about 38-page and is aim is prevent Willie from appearing on TV5 show because his contract with the former network is still a work.
“Revillame’s actions show that he has decided for himself that he can do as he pleases despite the Honorable Court’s taking cognizance of the issues”, as stated on the petition.
ABS-CBN Corporate Communication head Bong Osorio said, “The issue on Willie Revillame is all about honoring a contract. To ABS-CBN, it is not only the ethical and right thing to do. It is a noble act of a person or a company that values honesty and integrity.”
TV 5 comes to Willie’s rescue by stating, “But really, the question for all of us is—how strong the case of Willie against ABS, or how strong the case of ABS against Willie… We are convinced that he has a strong case”.
