Willie Revillame can’t leave ABS CBN
Willie Revillame didn’t like the decision of the ABS CBN management that he made his own decision to leave the network but the management doesn’t like it, they said that Willie has no right to leave ABS CBN.
A previous statement from Willie claims that the management hasn’t been fair on him for giving him a show that will only be shown once a week. Hey have a contract that is stating that he is doing the show that would be seen by the televiewers for 6 X a week because of these that he decided to end the contract.
According to the management, Willie doesn’t have a right to quit with his hosting career since he is bound by the contract that he has attached his signature on. Since he is the one that leaves Wowowee in the first place then he has no right to claim that the management violated the contract. Willie’s statement is just a result of arrogance.
Here are the complete statements of ABS CBN management regarding the reaction of Wilie REvillame.
“We take note of Willie Revillame’s pronouncements in his press conference today.
“Willie is bound to ABS-CBN by a contract until September 2011. He violated the behavioral provisions of his contract when he threatened the ABS-CBN management during the May 4, 2010 episode of Wowowee, with a resignation if management does not fire another artist of the network. His behavior was generally seen as a display of disrespect and arrogance, completely unacceptable to the Filipino public.
“As the one who violated his contract, Willie has no right to have it unilaterally invalidated. Contracts are binding agreements that must be respected by the contracting parties involved. The one who violates the contract cannot be allowed to dictate whether it should continue or end. Otherwise, contracts will have no value and may be terminated based on whim.
“ABS-CBN is the aggrieved party, and as such, is the only one that can decide to end the agreement.
“Despite all that had happened, ABS-CBN was willing to continue with the contract. Willie however, refused to take responsibility for his actions.
“ABS-CBN wishes to reiterate that it will hold Willie to his obligations under the contract which expires September 2011.”
i’m sure willie is learning his lesson now. Im glad he’s out from the show. He is so mayabang ang good he’s gone forever.
To ABS CBN, now since willie is history, i dont think kris aquino will be good for the new show and im sure the abs cbn is looking for somebody who can replace kris from the new show i look at her show and im sure dont last. Why? the audience is kind of hessitated kasi maporma masyado at masyadong na intimidate ang kasamang mga host nya. no fun at all. kahit sino nalang pinapatulang lalake. kawawa naman si james at ang anak nya
my advised to kris is quit the show for good and focus on helping people with hes brother. Help the poor people there she is not good for any show anymore
