PJ Valerio is Captain Shang on Golden Disney
The young singer/actor PJ Valerio has been chosen to do the part of Captain Shang in Hongkong Disneyland so he flies to go there yesterday, October 10, 2010.
Captain Shang is a character in Disney film “Mulan”. This time it will be live on stage were the young Valerio will be performeming live along with the other all star cast of Mulan, Tarzan, and Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Golden Disney is a play of mixture of all these cartoon films.
“I expect to have a good time and to enjoy. Honestly for me, this would probably be my vacation kasi Captain Shang, I’ve played that so many times already.
“That was my role before sa Repertory Philippines Children’s Theater when they did Mulan. I was Captain Shang in that play. So I know the character by heart. I know the songs and the character.
“I am not sure, pero they might also make me do High School Musical which I have already done.
“Pretty much it’s going to be a vacation for me. I am going to enjoy and have fun. But of course, I am there to work, not just to enjoy, pero it would be fun. It would be a new experience for me,” as shared by PJ.
