Megamind movie review
In the tradition of “Despicable Me” where the story is about a super villain who ends his old ways to stop some a greater threat to his city, comes “Megamind”, in this movie the hero was born to a life of crime but somehow sees the good in man and decided to help them against an even more evil villain.
Megamind is the newest computer-animated design and action film that DreamWorks Animation has come up. With the voice cast of famous actors and actress like Will Farell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey, and Jonah Hill, what could go wrong with this film?
Directing them is Tom McGrath (“Madagascar” and its sequel). Screenwriters Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons borrow the story from Superman since both infants comes from a mysterious dying planet. Metro Man got a loving parent as his foster parent while Megamind was raised by an inmate.
Fey is the Lois Lane in the movie as Megamind tries to court her in the story. Hill is the reporter who also becomes the bad guy in Metro City as Megamind tries to mold him into the replacement of Metro man once he disposes of him.
I will wait of Megamind’s availability in DVD to see the film.
