Kitchen Battles on QTV 11
Zoren Legaspi finally got a taste on what it is to be a host for the first time on Kitchen Battles on QTV 11. Together with Issa Litton and Chef Sau del Rosario, they are going to choose which chef is the best when it comes to the cooking their choice dishes.
There would be twelve chefs that are coming from prestigious restaurants and hotels, some of them got their own business, which has to do with food. To be the best then all you have to do is to beat the other contestant. Every week, two chefs would be fighting to show-off their prize dishes.
On the premier episode this Sunday we would see Danica Sotto again Martin Jickeined top cook three dishes, which would come from the featured ingredient on that week.
The show can be watched at QTV 11, 7:30 pm this coming Sunday.

I think the show is a sellout. Don’t get me wrong, I like the show. But contestants have to use Papa ketchup for the first two rounds. This kills the creativity and confines the dishes to the similar tastes. I mean, just how many ketchup recipes can there be? My family and I are getting tired of the show because of this. I hope the producers read this and take my comments into consideration.
Please, let go of the Papa ketchup thing. I know they are sponsors but you are killing the show! Just cite the brand as a major sponsor. Please!

how to join kitchen battle??/
I love your show, every week is so exciting and amazing to see chef do their best to cook a certain dish out of a banana catsup..It’s fantastics. I like the way the judges gives their comment and I’m looking forward for your show.
My family and I like watching kitchen battles on qtv. But we moved to Los Angeles and would like to know how we can still watch the show? We are a direct tv subscriber. thank you.
I agree with Boyet R. If you can’t diss the UFC ketchup, at least limit its use for one round. One more thing about the show that keeps me from watching it is Zoren. He’s a good host but NOT a judge. He may own a restaurant but Issa can judge the dishes better than him. He’s redundant and it’s obvious he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about. It would be better if he remained just as the host or if Issa would be the food critic instead.
i have watched the show a couple of times and honestly i am not impressed. for me it seems like a rip-off pinoy version of iron chef and a miniature version of top chef, both successful culinary shows in the states.
i do not like what issa litton is doing. she talks too much. it even seem that the chefs are a bit distracted by her and just agrees or says nothing. a suggestion: why not let the chefs do the explaining. it is better that way. clearly, issa litton has no clue about cooking.
what is zoren legaspi doing in the judges table? seriously. does he cook? is he good? come on. it’s bad enough that you have issa litton talking and talking while you cook, then to have your dishes judged by some actor who clearly has little or no experience in cooking. judges should be reknowned chefs, or food critics.

my son and i loved watching the kitchen battle… one time i asked my son to turn on the tv for chef battle he corrected me by saying “mommy, that’s kitchen battle, not chef battle…” so funny. because he too loves to watch the show. actually all the cooking shows in qtv. he always pretending that he is a chef though if you ask him what he will be in the future, he will be a navy soldier.
