KC Concepcion fears marriage
KC Concepcion admits that she has fears of getting to close to someone while growing up since she comes from a broken family. She also don’t believe about marriage since her parents were once married and ended up with their separate lives. Goring up, it is hard or her to accept the fact that each of them are in a separate relationship and that most of this relationship fails.
“For a kid, it’s really hard to understand why you get so close [sa mga nakakarelasyon nina Sharon at Gabby noon] and then all of a sudden, they disappear and they’re on to the next relationship. And you get scared bringing people close to you again because they can leave anytime, and I’ve gone through a lot of that—on both sides,” paliwanag muna ni KC sa harap ng imbitadong press people, kabilang na ang PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
“So, there was time that I didn’t actually believe in marriage and there was a time that I was just so scared of getting so close to people, because I just always thought they’ll leave,” pagtatapat pa ng dalaga.

“I believe in it, but I’m not gonna in the next, you know… anytime soon. But yeah, I’m actually excited, and I came to realize that, marriage means, ahm… I’m sorry, I am so sorry to quote Sex And The City, this is really pathetic, but, it says, ‘Tradition sneaks up on you.’ And I kinda believe that because I’ve had different concept of family through the years.”
Sa dami raw ng iba’t ibang “family” na kinabilangan niya mula noong maghiwalay ang kanyang unang tunay na family—siya, ang Mama Sharon at Papa Gabby niya—excited din daw siyang magkaroon ng sarili niyang pamilya at sariling set of traditions. “But that’s later on,” pasubali ni KC sa sinabi.
When she was doing the second meeting for her parents, she admitted being scared since those two are bitter enemies ever since, this coming Sunday, KC shares that we will be seeing the interview with her parents as they talk face to face.
