I-Witness wins another award from Pea Body Awards
This is a certainly an honor for the staff and members of GMA 7 since one of Kara David whom host the I-Witness has been given a recognition for giving another great documentary which is awarded on the recent 69th Peanut Pea Body Award. The organizer of the award bodies now recognizes the episode “Ambulansiyang de Paa” and thus it has been granted the award.
Ambulansiyang de Paa is aired last March 2009, more than a year ago showcasing the lives of the Mangyan people in the Oriental Mindoro. It is very inspiring since the people there carry their sick on just a woven to the nearest hospital in the area because there are no distant health centers that are available in the there area.
