Edward Norton is not the Hulk
Edward Norton who portrayed the character of Bruce Banner and the Hulk will not be seen in the upcoming movie “Avengers”. Marvel Studio and Edward Norton’s agent didn’t have compromised the last time that they met, so they are forced to find a new one instead.
On his Facebook account, Norton said that he couldn’t let his fans go noticed so he posted that he isn’t going to return as the green giant “Hulk”.
“I am so appreciative of the outpouring of support from fans of the Hulk and the Avengers that I feel it would be rude not to respond,” Edward wrote. “It seems it won’t work out for me to continue playing Bruce Banner for Marvel in ‘The Avengers.’ I sincerely hoped it could happen and be great for everyone, but it hasn’t turned out as we all hoped.
Before the incident, a website already reported that Norton will be out of the Avengers casting. Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige noted that this is not because of the money to which the actor is paid but instead has something to do with working relationships with the other actors and actresses on the new movie.
Upon knowing this statement form Marvel Studios, Norton’s agent quickly called Feige unprofessional for leaving such statement.
“This offensive statement from Kevin Feige at Marvel is a purposefully misleading, inappropriate attempt to paint our client in a negative light,” the agent also said in his statement to HitFix.com.
