Akihiro Sato is not voted out of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown
This must have been the most controversial part of Survivor Celebrity Showdown as Akihiro Sato was betrayed by fellow survivor Ervic Vijandre.

Richard presented the immunity idol and a car. Whomever wins the challenge wins the reward or they could choose the car and give the immunity necklace to anyone they would want. The challenge is to last on top of a pole and the last two were Akihiro and Ervic. After 9 straight hours of battling Akihiro said to Ervic that he would give the car to him if Ervic would give him the necklace. Ervic nodded, so Akihiro quit the game by falling down. Ervic wins the challenge.
Ervic picked the car as his prize and he got the decision on which he will give the immunity necklace. Everybody was shocked when Ervic didn’t honor what he has agreed before with Akihiro. Ervic chooses Aubrey Miles as the recipient of the immunity necklace.
Update:
I just watched the tribal council and I found out that Akihiro Sato was not voted out after all. All of them voted for Moi to join the juries which will determine the ultimate survivor this season.
Ervic is not a man of his words! shame on him! I really got mad when I saw this episode… I was voting for Akihiro to win. He’s a real nice guy, doesn’t deserve to be voted out. I hate Ervic, as well as Aubrey! I hope they’re the next to be voted out!!!

i dont like ervic cos of what he did to akihiro, whats worse is that he is blaming the game for his foul actions. he is not a real man – not even half a man compared to aki. even after this game is done – ive no “amor” or respect for this guy. he’s a bastard and his foul behaviour is disgusting. you can really see his character as a person cos he is very reactive and defensive. its a good thing marian left this guy – cos he doesnt have a heart – no principles. he doesnt measure even to half of dingdong dantes’ nail dirt. he’s a scumbag. feeling gwapo napakayabang… yuck he will not be a good role model sa mga kabataan. and he claims that he is a power player? PWE! he is a dirty player!

I agree that the “true” survivors are those who were cast away. — Aki, Nanay Elma, Aira, Jon, Michelle. Very disappointing show. How could those who schemed, turned their backs on their friends win, and be traitors win 3 million? Totally undeserving. Such a waste of viewers’ time. The show taught people wrong values. Like a telenovela where the villains win in the end, a documentary showing how cannibals eat other people or national geographic showing lions devouring lambs or hapless animals — it leaves a bad aftertaste and make you want to close your eyes when watching.

Ervic, not gOod example in survivor. dapat kasi hindi kay Aubrey nya binigay ang necklace para man to man ang laban at the end. patas naman ang huling challenge nila ni Aki takot lang sya matalo. Hindi ka sisikat sa showbis kung yan ang stepping stone mo ang survivor.

At this point in time, Aki truly deserves to win. He was good in the challenges, having won immunity several times. He has heart, as demonstrated when he chose to bring Aaron’s father and Aaron with him when he won the recreation challenge as he saw how hard Aaron’s father worked during the challenge. When he says, he wants Mama Elam to win despite having voted her out, I believe his sincerity. He has the brains to have lasted this long. All these are the traits of a “true” survivor. Go Aki!

whoever wins the survivor will reflect on what values the tv show survivor wants to express to the public. sana si akihiro sato ang manalo and deserves to win. hindi lang magaling sa challenges, but he plays with his heart without stepping on someone’s toes or using other people for his benefit.
