PEP and Richard Gutierrez reconciled

The argument between Pep and Richard Gutierrez is less than a year now and now the two are finally closing it down. Yes, you heard it right, they have both agreed that they are having some reconciliation after all those libel suit which where filed by the actor against the establish website.
It all started with a simple article about Richard Gutierrez having a quarrel with fellow actor Michael Flores on a parking lot. Pep claims that Richard Gutierrez started the commotion. Richard got angry and filed a libel suit against Pep editor Joan Maglipon and other officials of the said website.
Today, February 9, 2010. The two are going to end it. Pep editors and reported finally apologized personally to the actor. The website issued a public apology as part of the settlement.
“The Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) hereby reiterates that Mr. Richard Gutierrez was never involved in any “heated altercation” or “tutukan ng baril” with Michael Flores or with any other individual on 29 March 2009, during the party of Zorro director Mark Reyes, contrary to an article briefly uploaded on its website on the same day.
“PEP editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, managing editor Karen Pagsolingan and staffwriter Bong Godinez acknowledge their error; repeat their assurance that they have no malicious agenda against Mr. Gutierrez; and apologize for the publication of the article and their failure to get his side of the story and for the hurt it has caused him and his family.”
The reconciliation was done at the office of the Justice of the Secretary Agnes Devanadera. The staff and owner of the said website read the above apology.
The complainant plainly accepted the apology and thus they are reconciled after a long time.
The parties shook their hands in front of the Justice of Secretary.
The case is now official close and that both parties have agreed to this.
