Pacquiao vs Hatton: the aftermath

I just watched the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton on television. I was cooking my launch so I didn’t see the entrance of Ricky Hatton which is surprising because he is the champion here and Manny Pacquiao is just a challenger. Commentators explained that this is because Pacman is the pound-per-pound champion of the world. As Manny comes to the ring, he was assisted by 2 former champions, Michael Moore which has been helping out in the training and the Animal Batista from the WWE.

Round 1 started and as usual Ricky being the bully like all on his fight move in closer to Pacman to bring the fight to him. At first I could see that Ricky Hatton was bullying Pacman but after a few while Manny got him with a left hook which knocks down Hatton. From that moment I know that many Pacquiao is going to win this fight since his strong hand is his left hand. As the fight continues Pacquiao got another hit on the face and Ricky Hatton was knocking down again. Soon he got up and went on to beat the pound-per-pound champion but the bell rang and so the referee has to stop the fight.

2nd round is up and I know that it would be just a matter of time before they are going to announce the winner so I didn’t wink as I watched the battle. After exchanging blows and clinging to Manny, the latter manage to land a right counter punch from Ricky Hatton’s straight jab. Ricky Hatton fell and he didn’t know what hit him. I was shocked because Hatton cannot get up and his eyes seems to be looking up to the ceiling and don’t know what has happened to him, both coaches and staffs where all in the ring but Hatton was still unconscious.
