Francis M. during his late days
I am so sad to learn that the master rapper is dead. Francis Magalona died today after battling with leukemia for several years. The master rapper died on 12:10 pm March 6, 2009.
The other co-host of Eat Bulaga burst into tears while offering there prayers. Wowowee casts also offered there prayers even though they are rivals on noon time show. His families and friend were all sad as they went to the hospital to confirm this news.
Francis M. as we know him is Francis Durango Magalona, son of the late fifties celebrities Pancho Magalona and Tita Duran. He was born on October 4, 1964. He started his career as break-dancer on the 1980 and then went on to be an actor. After that he ventured into rapping and with hit song “Mga Kababayan” has started a name for himself in the music industry.
Growing up, he was one of my idols, I remember singing and watching his movies as I was growing up. My deep condolence goes to the family of the master rapper, who died today at the age of 44.

I felt the same when I figured out that the news about Francis M. was true. At first, I thought that it maybe just a big joke, not until I heard it personally on TV. Losing someone was really hard, so I do understand how Francis family felt.
Many people idolized him for many things that he had achieved not just for himself but also for our nation. Mostly of his masterpiece mainly focus on being “pinoy”, his love in our country were always be in our mind and be remember through his songs.
