UFC 89: Jardine vs Vera

I just recently watch UFC 89, although this isn’t the highlight of the match, I just want to give this the stressed to support my fellow Filipino Brandon Vera. He isn’t as pure blooded as me but it makes me proud to say to the world that Filipinos can fight against other nation and still win.

The fight starts up with Jardine scoring a take down against Vera, most of the time where consumed by Vera trying to get up and Jardine landing those big blows on him. At first, I can’t recognize who is on the top because they look alike (bald). After a few minutes of watching it, I found out that Jardine is the one on top and Vera is one the one being pounded. The referee has broken the fight because it will go nowhere until the fight ends. After the break, Brandon did knockdown Jardine but the latter easily got up and knocks down Brandon. The fight ends up with the referee announcing Jardine as the winner.
